Registration and Accomodations

All workshop organizers and invited participants need to register through the SIGIR Registration page. Student Volunteers also need to register following the directions received in email. If you have questions, please contact Mary McCann, the SIGIR registrar.

To PIM 2006 attendees who are not registered for the SIGIR Conference:
If you arrive on campus on Wednesday before 5:00 p.m., you can check in for your workshop at the conference registration desk at Kane Hall (L-9 on the UW campus map). On Thursday the workshop registration desk will open at Mary Gates Hall (M-11) at 8:00 a.m. Workshops take place in Mary Gates Hall, Mechanical Engineering Building (O-12) and Loew Hall (O-11) starting at 9:00 a.m. You will be directed to your assigned building when you check in at registration.

Airport Alert
Because of recent events in London, expect delays getting through security at the Seattle airport. The Sea-Tac Airport website lists traveller alerts and new security requirements. Also be sure to verify flight status with your airline.
